Ron Dole

Biography

Ronald Dole is a finance and accounting executive with more than 25 years of experience in middle-office operations and back-office accounting across the insurance, traditional investment management, alternative investment management, fund administration and biotechnology industries.

Ron began his career working in the insurance industry, leading derivative investment accounting and settlement teams at CNA Insurance Companies and Metlife. He later transitioned to hedge fund administration, joining Spectrum Fund Administration, where he advanced to Co-Head of Client Services. He then went on to serve as Accounting Controller at Plainfield Asset Management, an alternative investment firm managing $5 billion in assets. Ron continued his career as a finance and accounting consultant at Ryan Associates and KEO Solutions, LLC, advising clients on the selection and implementation of middle- and back-office system solutions.

Most recently, as Founder and Principal of D55 Consulting, Ron partnered with start up and early-stage biotechnology firms to build corporate and accounting infrastructure, develop budgeting and investor reporting processes and negotiate key contract agreements and manage all regulatory filings.

Ron holds a B.S. in Accountancy from DePaul University and earned his CPCU certification while in the insurance industry. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family and volunteering at his church.
